Prophet Jesus was born to the esteemed Virgin Maryam (Mary) in the town of Bethlehem. His birth, miraculously ordained by Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala), took place on the 25th of December, marking a momentous event in history.
The Quran narrates the story of Maryam’s piety and devotion, highlighting her as one of the most revered women in Islam. She withdrew to a secluded place, and there, under the shade of a date palm tree, she gave birth to the blessed Prophet Jesus.
Prophet Jesus’ Mission and Miracles: A Testament to Allah’s Power
Prophet Jesus commenced his prophethood at the age of 30, embarking on a divine mission to guide humanity towards the truth. The Quran mentions several miracles performed by him, each a manifestation of Allah’s boundless power and mercy.
Among his miracles were healing the blind and the lepers, breathing life into the lifeless, and speaking from the cradle as an infant – all as signs of his prophethood. By Allah’s permission, Prophet Jesus molded clay birds and brought them to life, a miracle that left a profound impact on those who witnessed it.

In the Quran, Prophet Jesus affirms his prophethood, declaring his mission as a messenger of Allah. He preached the message of Tawhid – the belief in the oneness of Allah – emphasizing the worship of the One true God and the abandonment of all false idols.
Prophet Jesus’ teachings were a continuation of the divine message conveyed by previous prophets, such as Prophet Moses (Musa) and Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) – all emphasizing the eternal truth of monotheism.
